CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - Embracing the future of transportation, Hampton Inn by Hilton Crystal River has installed two Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations, located adjacent to the north entrance of the hotel. The Tesla 80A Single Phase and GE Universal charging stations support the modern, eco-friendly atmosphere of the 68-room hotel, a recent winner of the brand's prestigious Lighthouse Award.
"With annual EV sales rising, we were looking to take a progressive approach to guests with eco-friendly needs such as charging stations," said Ron Congdon, general manager. "Not only will they provide added convenience to our guests but it will help set us apart from other lodging options in the area. We want our guests to think of our charging stations as one of several value-added amenities that are synonymous with the Hampton brand."
The hotel provides guests a fresh start to each day with On the House hot breakfast which includes eggs, oatmeal and waffles. In addition, the hotel provides Hampton's On the RunTM Breakfast Bags filled with a multi-grain bar, an apple, an artisan breakfast bread loaf and a bottle of water with a flavor packet for those guests on the go, available Monday through Friday.
