KRAKÓW, Poland - Hilton Worldwide today announced the signing of its first dual branded property in Poland, DoubleTree by Hilton Kraków Hotel & Convention Center and Hampton by Hilton Kraków. The company now has 17 hotels either currently trading or under development in Poland, one of its fastest growing European markets. The hotels will open following the signing of a franchise agreement with Kraków based Euro Hotele Sp. z o.o.
Hilton Worldwide opened its first Polish hotel, Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Centre, in 2007 and has since grown the portfolio with openings in Rzeszow, Swinoujscie, Kraków and Gdansk. Dual branded hotels have become an increasingly popular accommodation option in Europe, with the Kraków project joining recent Hilton Worldwide openings in the UK, Germany and Turkey.

Located in the beautiful and historic city of Kraków, a popular business and leisure destination, the new build hotels are within easy transfer from the city centre and historic old town, and less than 10 miles from Kraków Airport. Situated on the Vistula river in southern Poland, the city dates back to the Seventh century. Not only an economic centre, Kraków is considered by many to be the cultural capital of Poland. In 1978, UNESCO added Kraków's Historic Centre to the list of World Heritage Sites, which includes the incredible Wawel Castle and 13th-Century Gothic-Renaissance Town Hall Tower.
The 224-room DoubleTree by Hilton Kraków Hotel & Convention Center will feature 2,254 square metres of conference and events space, including a 933 square metre ballroom and 17 meeting rooms, catering for the city's many business travellers meeting in this well connected economic hub. The hotel will also offer a fine dining restaurant and bar, as well as a fitness centre complete with saunas and swimming pool. Guests will be able to enjoy the delicious signature DoubleTree by Hilton warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in.
As part of the same building but with a seperate entrance and lobby, value-wise Hampton by Hilton Kraków will feature 161 rooms, all offering quality service and amenities to meet the needs of every guest, whether they stay for business or leisure. The hotel will offer the brand's signatures including free high-speed internet access throughout, free hot breakfast, 24-hour snack area featuring light dishes, a full bar, as well as Hampton by Hilton's 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Both hotels will be managed by polish operator Vision Hotel Management, subsidary company of Satoria Group SA. Across Poland Hilton Worldwide currently has five hotels in operation with another 12 in the pipeline and seven (1470 bedrooms ) currently under construction. It is estimated that this growth will help create approximately 500 jobs in the next few years.
